boy, was i true to these 4 words. haha. i truly did have a fulfilling day at Grapevine Mills ytd. spent 4 hours at de mall. could have combed every shop but my tired feet failed me. haven shop for such long hours for quite some time. before linda came to pick us up, i kept reminding yawen to control me whenever she thinks i have overspent. haha.
de moment we stepped into de mall, i could feel de adrenaline running itz way up to de top of my head. sales banners were almost everywhere! in a feeble attempt, yawen did try to remind me, whenever possible, of de budget i set for shopping. but i just could not resist de Summer Sales. and de discounts just get better [up to 90% discount] when itz nearing de end of de sales period. de ever-famous Great Singapore Sales in sg is simply peanuts as compared to US. de sales items here are really great bargains!!
spent slightly over 200bucks. felt kinda guilty of my outrageous spending. hehe. i bought clothes, accessories, bags, soveneirs and my long-awaited Fossil watch! de watch cost me $75 in sing dollars, after a 40% discount. i was so swooned over by de price offered to me, at dat point of time. itz a must buy!! by de way, de watch was de 1st item i bought ytd. what a lavish way to start off my shopping eh. haha.
after which, i went to check out some tops and bottoms. spent quite a great deal at Forever 21. there were several tops which i fancied but dere were no sizes available for me. argh. they must have been grabbed, way before i arrived. *bleah*
after about 3+ hours of shopping, my legs began to feel like they weighed tons. finally. i'm physically worn out but mentally, i was still enthusiastic and energetic. decided to put an end to my spending though. after all dat "shop till i drop", linda, her sister, yawen and i were feeling hungry already.
settled down at Saltgrass Steakhouse for dinner. and what's a better way to end de day, than a sumptuous meal of seafood pasta-like appetizer, caesar salad, BBQ ribs & grilled chicken breast, and baked potato. *drools* linda's treat. wee~ ate till my stomach can no longer squeeze in any more food. dere goes my "eat moderately" plan... =\
